To get started with wamr, you need to download it first. Follow these simple steps:
- Visit the Releases page to find the latest version of wamr.
- Look for the version you want to download.
- Click on the download link for your operating system.
The downloaded file will usually be a ZIP archive, which you will need to extract.
For best performance, ensure your computer meets these minimum system requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later, or any modern Linux distribution.
- Processor: At least a dual-core processor.
- RAM: Minimum of 4 GB.
- Network: An active internet connection.
Once the download completes, locate the downloaded ZIP file in your computer's downloads folder. Extract the contents to a location of your choice. On Windows, you can usually right-click the file and select "Extract All." On a Mac, just double-click the ZIP file.
After extracting the files, follow these steps to run wamr:
- Open the folder where you extracted the files.
- Find the executable file titled

You may see a security warning the first time you run it. If you trust the source, click "Run."
Before you start requesting movies or shows, you need to set up wamr. Follow these steps:
- Open your WhatsApp and scan the QR code displayed by the wamr application. This connects wamr to your WhatsApp account.
- Once connected, you will see a prompt asking you to configure media services.
- Fill in the required details for services like Overseerr, Radarr, and Sonarr. Make sure you have accounts with these services, as wamr will use them to find and manage your media requests.
To request a movie or TV show, just send a message in your WhatsApp chat as you normally would. For example, type "Can you find me [Movie/Show Name]?"
Wamr will process your request and return the information about where you can watch it.
If you encounter issues while using wamr, try the following steps:
- Ensure you have an active internet connection.
- Check if your WhatsApp is working correctly.
- Restart the wamr application by closing it and running it again.
- Verify your configurations for media services.
