Hi, I'm Alon Baron 👋

💻 CS Student & Healthcare IT Developer

I am a second-year Computer Science student currently working within a healthcare Information Systems team. I care deeply about how complex systems function under the hood, from enterprise hospital networks to modern full-stack applications.

🛠️ My Philosophy: Architecture > Syntax

In the modern development landscape, syntax is cheap and AI handles the boilerplate. The real engineering happens in careful system planning, data modeling, and robust architecture.

I am a tech-agnostic problem solver. I focus on understanding the core logic of a system and picking the absolute best tool for the job, rather than tying myself to a single language.

  • AI-Driven Virtual Try-On (VTO) System: Designing the architecture for a custom generative AI platform that handles image manipulation via APIs to seamlessly overlay jewelry onto user-uploaded photos.
  • PawPals: Building and polishing a full-stack social network for dog owners, with React, Spring Boot, MySQL, JWT auth, image uploads, and playdates.
