Install and open Visual Studio Code. Press Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X to open the Extensions pane. Find and install the Eyelit Scenario Script extension. Open any .escn file in VS Code. The extension is now activated. Ofg course you can always manually switch the current language mode in your editor to "Eyelit Scenario Script".
For optimized highlighting, the extension comes pre-packaged wityh its own theme. Open your VS Code preferences and switch the theme to "Eyelit Scenario Script Theme" to enable it.
