DeafMobileUI -> A design guide for mobile interfaces centered on Deaf users: A resource for developers

This repository contains the public code for the Vibro Notas app, which is currently published on Google Play.

The app was redesigned following the DeafMobileUI guide developed specifically for Deaf sign language users. This contains 13 guidelines:

  1. Sign Language
  2. Vibrating alerts
  3. Videos
  4. Text
  5. Plain language
  6. Easy navigation
  7. Tutorials and help
  8. Aesthetic and minimalist design
  9. Familiar components
  10. Appropriate color schemes
  11. Feedback messages
  12. Audio alerts
  13. System visibility

You can find details of the guide on our wiki.

Because this design guide involved the participation of Deaf users, the informed consent form used in this study is presented below. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FoVk_5uSiO2tg1qhGUJRR23NgYmaYmeC/view?usp=sharing)
