Hi there 👋

I am an Associate Professor of Statistics at Cal Poly, in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California.

I study data science education, equitable pedagogy, and how student identities intersect with classroom practices.

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on creating pedagogical materials to foster inclusive and equitable Intro Data Science courses
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning Python
  • I'll be on sabbatical in 2026-2027 developing an introductory qualitative methods course!
