Pull request overview
Standardizes the repository’s BSD-3-Clause license text/format in the root LICENSE file.
Changes:
- Replaces the previous BSD license header with the “BSD 3-Clause License” title.
- Reformats the conditions/disclaimer into a more standard, numbered layout.
