Ruby is no longer in rules_proto_grpc: rules-proto-grpc/rules_proto_grpc#299
However that ruleset is volunteer-maintained and carries a bunch of complexity. It requires users to populate
proto/BUILDfiles with extra ruby-specific rules, for which there isn't a Gazelle extension, and manual edits are not ergonomic. There's no ruby_grpc_library support here either: https://github.com/grpc/grpc/tree/master/bazel
So there's currently no good way for a Ruby codebase to make a gRPC server/client.
It's really simple to invoke
protocso we can do that ourselves./cc @fmeum
