## Validating Your Rules

After generating or updating rules, validate them to catch issues before they reach your AI agents:

```bash
npx cursor-doctor check # CI-friendly validation
npx cursor-doctor scan # Local validation with detailed feedback
```

This catches broken frontmatter, conflicting instructions, and vague rules that the AI will ignore. Run `check` in CI pipelines or pre-commit hooks to maintain rule quality.
