Thanks Michael! Yep, will require some thought to make this backward compatible (or to decide how to go about breaking backward compatibility without too much inconvenience), but good to have this here as a reminder, I had totally forgotten about it. |

Just creating a pull request for the changes Chris proposed some months ago to fix the labscript issues that we were having at NIST. It appears to have fixed our issues, and I think it's a good modification. I know Chris has to make some changes to ensure it doesn't break other things in labscript, but I figured I would at least put it out there to start the conversation.
