In this repository, you will find examples of how to read in information from netCDF files containing data from Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase 6 (CMIP6) simulations, and perform basic visualizations using these data.

The contents of the repository are:
- Climatemodel_demo_CanESM5.Rmd: R Markdown document containing commands for reading in data from the Canadian Earth System Model version 5 (CanESM5) and generating basic map and time series plots from this information
- Climatemodel_demo_histtofuture.Rmd: R Markdown document containing commands for reading in multiple data files from the Energy Exascale Earth System Model version 1 (E3SMv1), concatenating these along the time dimension, and generating time series plots
