Refine responsive motion and clean post-redesign code

Summary

• refine responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile, including the balanced mobile canvas/tool workspace
• add subtle, smooth motion throughout the landing, tool, editor, modal, and navigation surfaces with reduced-motion support
• update CodeQL actions to 4.36.3
• remove completed redesign scaffolding, unused exports/types, a redundant dependency, and duplicate loading UI
• add pnpm check:dead to keep unused files, exports, dependencies, unresolved imports, duplicate exports, and dependency cycles out of the codebase
