Using Exported Files
Using your spritesheets isn't terribly complicated, but there are a few issues.
-
Before anything else, you'll need to install CustomKnight. For Hollow Knight 1.5, use Scarab.
-
Open up steam, right click Hollow Knight, click "manage", and then "browse local files". Go to Hollow Knight Data/Managed/Mods/CustomKnight.
-
Make a new folder and name it whatever you want the name of your skin to be
-
Move the spritesheets into the folder.
-
Many have incorrect names and you will need to rename them for the game to recognize them.
