🚨 Severity: MEDIUM
💡 Vulnerability: Missing security headers (Strict-Transport-Security, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options) leaves the API susceptible to man-in-the-middle attacks, clickjacking, and MIME-sniffing.
🎯 Impact: Attackers could potentially exploit these missing headers to conduct attacks or gain unintended access depending on how the client utilizes the API.
🔧 Fix: Added Strict-Transport-Security, X-Frame-Options, and X-Content-Type-Options headers to all API responses in the global request correlation and tracing middleware (request_context.py).
✅ Verification: Ran unit/integration tests and verified that the tests are not impacted by this change. The added headers can be verified by making an HTTP request to any API endpoint.
