🚨 Severity: MEDIUM
💡 Vulnerability: The API was missing fundamental security headers, which could expose it to clickjacking, MIME-type sniffing, and protocol downgrade attacks.
🎯 Impact: Without these headers, clients could be tricked into loading the API in an iframe, or browsers might attempt to sniff the content type, potentially leading to security bypasses.
🔧 Fix: Added
Strict-Transport-Security,X-Frame-Options, andX-Content-Type-Optionsdirectly to the FastAPIrequest_contextmiddleware to ensure all endpoints receive this baseline protection.✅ Verification: Covered by a new unit test in
tests/unit/test_middleware_request_context.pywhich explicitly checks for the presence and correctness of these three headers on the middleware response object. All tests pass successfully.PR created automatically by Jules for task 10945206885788738819 started by @crabcanon
