Use Modes
The store offers 4 different modes to operate in (see App > Use Modes). These modes are used for various things. Read below.
This mode allows the JCAppStore to take implicit actions that simplify card management. This mode will never take action that might harm your card. An example might be an applet deletion: when no instance is left for a specific package, the package is removed too.
When enabled, the JCAppStore gives detailed information on any error cause. The most significant are erroneous card detections and errors during card management. It is meant for people who are not familiar with the technical details - to be turned off so that they are not bothered by detailed information on errors they cannot fix themselves anyway.
In case an error occurs that can be fixed by a beginner, the message is the same in both modes.
This mode enables exclusive card use - meaning if other applications are present on your computer that might interfere, it can be useful. Don't use it unless the application fails to communicate with your card several times in a row (but it worked before) - in that case, either turn off any applications that might interfere or turn on this mode.
Will keep installed JcMemory on your card when enabled. We recommend doing so - the applet is minimalistic and the Store will keep installing and uninstalling the applet otherwise.
The purpose of this applet is to measure the remaining card memory size only. This can be measured only up to 37,535 bytes. Higher numbers can be obtained only with the newest SDK API, not supported by majority of cards. We use this applet to check the size available before any applet is installed.
Also, there are two items in the "Display" menu item. "Logger" will open a log window at the bottom providing useful information for advanced users. "Show description" option will enable hints when hovered over elements (titles, buttons).
