You can also do other aspects of the Wholphin itself like the dorsal fin, the tail, the entire body, etc. Ultimately it is up to the developer, but not limiting yourself to the head may open up the possibility of a great idea that becomes the app's new icon. |

@Pentaphon Hmm... there is definitely some variation in the way wholphins look... I was looking at other pics to send to the artist for reference, and some of them the snout is a lot more dolphin like. I guess it depends on what dolphin species breeds with what whale species. I'm still partial to using a wholphin head silhouette for the logo - I feel like a fin or tail would be less striking/recognizable, but ultimately it's up to @damontecres. See below.

True. I was just going with what I saw the most pictures of and what I picture when I think of a Whale/Dolphin hybrid. The only issue I see is that your original image might seem a little too dolphin-like and people will say "isn't that a dolphin?" if they don't pay much attention to the extra bump above the snout. |

Artist is out of town for the weekend but when he gets back he said he’ll do a draft with a thicker snout to differentiate it from a regular dolphin a little more |

Description
This is a draft PR integrating a rough draft of a new logo commissioned from Fleppyflepster. This update replaces the launcher icons and TV banners with the watermarked new logo draft. Only the actual logo/art asset has been touched by the artist. The text, font, etc in the banner was done by me (so that's why it's ugly). Fleppy will design the complete icon and banner set once something is decided on. Feedback is welcome!
