- the jsgrid styles were getting clobbered by my overly general CSS selectors from the first part of the screencast
- minimal changes to the codebase are needed to get the same functionality out of our grid DSL - if we wanted to swap this out for yet another JS data table library we would have an easy touch point to do so!
