- Redesigned core diagnostics and health check service communication from SSH-based to secure RPC/API-based architecture, improving reliability and addressing security-compliance gaps.
- Built Logbay, a distributed backend service for log collection and remote command execution with automated PII masking, improving masking throughput 5x and cutting on-call incident volume.
- Proactively built developer-productivity tooling to close team workflow gaps, including AI-assisted diagnostic summarization, a Gerrit MCP server, and Slack/Glean integrations to reduce manual triage and redundant Q&A.
- Core contributor to the AWS-based backend data pipeline for Nutanix Insights, architecting data ingestion at 8TB/day with >99.99% uptime.
- Led the migration of 200+ ETL/batch jobs to an AWS EMR-based batch backend with column- and row-level validation at 100% accuracy.
- Implemented Hyper-V VM backup and sandbox provisioning in CDP using the VSS API (C++) and contributed to VMware VM backup solutions.
- Developed VMware change-block-tracking backup/recovery workflows using vSphere APIs and built cloud migration workflows for AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
