Rust Projects and examples
Install VS code and add the Rust extension which brings: rust-analyzer, Rust Syntax, and the rust compiler. Used cargo command to generate the rust project and Cargo.toml, which enables syntax highlighting. New projects should be created in the RustProjects folder using cargo: https://doc.rust-lang.org/cargo/guide/creating-a-new-project.html
UdpListener is a simple UDP based application which waits for a packet with a numbered byte array and sends it back incremented by 1. The idea of this application is to run 2 instances of it, on geographically separate machines, but that are logically on a local network, using tailscale. The application will measure lost packets between the machines.
Call arguments are as follows: ./udpListener <<Local_Host_IP>> <<Client_IP>>
