😯 My passion for improving health started when I was young. I grew up surrounded by family members who were deeply committed to contributing to society. My siblings work in social welfare and community development, and through them I saw firsthand how meaningful it is to support vulnerable populations and uplift communities. My aunt worked with UNICEF, and I often heard about her missions and the real impact they had on children’s lives around the world.
🤩 These experiences gradually built a strong desire in me to contribute in a similar way. I wanted to help people, especially those who are unwell or in need, so after high school I decided to pursue medicine.
🥹 But the journey was not easy. I was doing well until COVID-19 hit. The sudden changes affected me academically, mentally, and physically, and I struggled to adapt. In the end, I could not meet the university requirements and had to withdraw. It was a tough period, and it took several months to recover and rebuild my confidence.
😮 With my background in health and medicine, I became increasingly drawn to data analysis and how it can be used to make a real impact. My first exposure to biostatistics and epidemiology was a turning point. For the first time, I saw a clear path where I could combine my interests by using data and statistical methods to guide decisions, shape policies, and improve public health outcomes.
😎 Since then, I have been actively developing my skills, teaching myself R, and deepening my understanding of statistics. I really enjoy turning complex, messy data into clear, interpretable insights that can benefit communities. I also create videos discussing public health topics, write blog posts, and publish analysis tutorials to share what I’ve learned with others.
🫡 Today, my goal is to bridge healthcare and data, using analytical tools to support evidence-based decisions and contribute to better health outcomes on a larger scale.
