Summary

GitHub issue cleanup performed

Note on CodeRabbit linked-issue warning

#425 was closed after verifying that PR #464 had already landed the render-profile CORE schema and docs (docs/roadmap/contracts/render-profile.schema.json and docs/roadmap/contracts/render-profile.md). This PR only records that existing status in the roadmap docs; it does not claim to newly implement #425.

Validation

No heavyweight local release sweep was run; #466 belongs on the 32GB VM plus Mac/macOS CI built-app verification.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

PR #468 refreshes WorldOS project documentation across four key files to reflect post-#465 stabilization and reframe the roadmap toward UX-first sprint #467. The operating goal updates metadata, rewrites next actions, and revises current status/sprint order. Supporting documentation (runbook, graphics roadmap, QA workbook) aligns work queues, milestone progress, and verification status with the new strategy.

Changes

Project State and Planning Documentation Refresh

Layer / File(s) Summary
Operating Goal: State of Truth and Strategy
WorldOS-OPERATING-GOAL.md
Refreshed ground-truth metadata (AS OF date, ORIGIN TIP commit), rewrote NEXT ACTION section to emphasize clean post-hardening gate #466 for trustworthy failures followed by UX-first sprint #467, and re-authored CURRENT STATUS and UX-FIRST SPRINT ORDER with post-#465 commit hashes, revised evidence steps, and prioritized UX-risk checklist.
Runbook Work Queue and Graphics Roadmap Progress
WorldOS-RUNBOOK.md, docs/roadmap/WORLDOS-GRAPHICS-ROADMAP.md
Runbook snapshot refreshed to record gate-truth stabilization (PR #465), updated origin/main commit reference, and aligned next-sprint guidance with UX-first focus and first-turn built-app play proof. Graphics roadmap status updated with M0–M6 milestone filing, PR #464 M0 contract-slice progress, issue closure summary (#425/#426/#427/#431 closed; #428/#430/#433 open), deferred coordinated edits (#429/#432), and 2026-05-31 confidence checkpoint.
QA Verification and Bug Status
qa/GUI_WORKBOOK.md
Verification headline extended with post-#465 release-gate context (disk-backed palette_live proof with enabled actions on can_act:true surface). Clarified that image/map/palette issues were stale-worktree artifacts, updated REAL-bugs entries (G3–G7) to reflect #465 merges, adjusted static-test and gate-evidence references, and refreshed G7 app-proof details.

Possibly related issues

  • #467: PR #468 documentation updates explicitly reframe the project toward the UX-first sprint described in issue #467, including identical sprint order and acceptance criteria for first-turn playability, clickability/chrome, launcher clarity, live-response feel, and CRPG depth.

Possibly related PRs

  • electricsheephq/WorldOS#419: Main PR updates "STATE OF TRUTH" metadata and "NEXT ACTION"/gate-read-order guidance that were introduced in PR #419, and refreshes runbook/workbook to align with the new gate workflow.
  • electricsheephq/WorldOS#413: Main PR refreshes operating-goal and related QA/runbook sections to update RRI/gate-driven current state and next UX-first actions, building on the operating-goal/runbook/workbook + RRI gating framework introduced in PR #413.

Poem

🐰 The docs now gleam with fresh-stamped dates,
State of truth through project's gates,
UX-first hops down sprint's clear trail,
Bug squashes and roadmap's golden tale!
May the rabbits play in worlds rebuilt. 🌍✨

Check name Status Explanation Resolution
Linked Issues check ⚠️ Warning The PR description addresses takeover state, UX-first sprint tracking, and documentation alignment; however, the linked issue #425 requires defining a render-profile CORE schema (JSON Schema + documentation), which is not evident in the documentation-only changes provided. Either implement the render-profile CORE schema as required by #425, or clarify whether #425 was closed prematurely without completing its required deliverables.
