Really nice readability improvements across the board!
I went through each of the conversions and they looked to be correct. Just a few things below.

This makes it easier to create a `Duration` instance in Rust.

LGTM, thanks again for doing this!
The team has decided to deprecate and stop publishing python wheels for MacOS. Synapse docker images will continue to work on MacOS, as will building Synapse from source (though note this requires a Rust compiler). Admins using the unstable [MSC2666](matrix-org/matrix-spec-proposals#2666) endpoint (`/_matrix/client/unstable/uk.half-shot.msc2666/user/mutual_rooms`), please check [the relevant section in the upgrade notes](https://github.com/element-hq/synapse/blob/develop/docs/upgrade.md#upgrading-to-v11440) as this release contains changes that disable that endpoint by default. Duration(microseconds=1).as_secs() -> 0.000001
And the previous value was actually 0.00000001 (10 nanoseconds)
Spotted while looking at this spawning from this discussion: #19871 (comment)

This is more just calling out the difference. I don't think it necessarily has adverse effects.
timedelta which backs our Duration class can only represent microseconds so it would require a whole extra effort to make it the same again.
Even the previous 10ns is arbitrary and we might as well have used 1ns.

Looks like this was already discussed above (missed because resolved/outdated)
This changes the arguments in clock functions to be
Durationand converts call sites and constants intoDuration. There are still some more functions around that should be converted (e.g.timeout_deferred), but we leave that to another PR.We also changes
.as_secs()to return a float, as the rounding broke things subtly. The only reason to keep it (its the same astimedelta.total_seconds()) is for symmetry withas_millis().Follows on from #19223
