Releases on Github and my FDroid repo are binary identical and signed using the same key (Do not attempt to install the official FDroid apk over my FDroid repo APK, it will not work since FDroid signs their own APKs). One of the reason for distributing the binary over my own self hosted instance is because FDroid updates are slow, builds take anywhere from a day up to a week due to a variety of reasons.

To add my repo:

  1. Open the FDroid android app
  2. Click on Settings on the Bottom Navigation Bar
  3. Click on Repositories
  4. Click on + at the top right
  5. Under Repository address paste https://foss.hisname.xyz/fdroid/firefly/
  6. (Optional) Under Fingerprint(Optional) paste B8 6A 98 50 CC C2 A4 24 45 E7 8A 6F F7 3A FA D7 5C 90 F7 5E 95 80 0B 25 47 DE B1 BA AE C8 31 94
  7. Click Add
