Welcome to the The-Math-Group wiki!

This is for anyone who wants to rebuild their math foundations. A lot of people go through high school or even university with major gaps in their mathematical education whether it be missing whole concepts or just learning math through rote memorization with the plug and chug technique taught in high school...

They taught me just to calculate,
and not to think or ask.
So now I just regurgitate,
and bullsh*t just to pass.

They taught me how to integrate,
but not the reasons why.
As well, I learned to derivate,
but not how to derive.

They packed my head with mindless tricks,
and told me I was wise.
But when I tried real mathematics,
I found, they taught me lies.

This is for those who want to 'start from scratch' and learn math the right way.

There are 2 groups. If you follow the curriculum and do the problems I guarantee you a very solid Mathematics foundation to build up on...and following either curriculum to completion will make it infinitely easier to learn future higher level math.

This is also just a community for self-learners in math.

I've made two paths either you can take the concrete path...

Group 1: that's for people in school or people who need to know their algebra, precalc, trig, calc. Only difference is it's being taught with the proper books for the subjects and teaches you actual math rather than a bunch of mindless tricks. Takes around 6 months to finish group 1 and once you finish you should have a very solid base and be comfortable with future higher level math.

Group 2: this is a much longer endeavor intended for those who want to also relearn their math and form a solid base but instead you go through the foundations of math and learn what math is built up on... logic, set theory, etc. It takes around 1-2 years to finish this curriculum but if you do you should be able to pick up any math book you want and learn from it with ease.
