@kytrinyx, PR with just the Unicode article as discussed in #14.

Sweet, would you mind adding an entry to the JSON config for it? Once that is in place I'll do a final edit and work with @iHiD to make sure that the blurb is everything we want it to be, and perhaps get an image included.

@kytrinyx, done. I renamed the file/slug to match the title of the post more closely. Left the marketing copy and image blank, as I presumed you all would want to fill that out.

Excellent! Yepp, we'll take care of those bits.

@iHiD I made a suggestion for marketing copy on this one, and have done the final edits for flow/grammar on the article.

Would you tweak the marketing copy and add an image and get this published?

For reference, here are the commands that I used to pull this down locally and push to Percy's branch, in case that's useful:

$ git fetch origin refs/pull/34/head
$ git checkout -b percy-unicode FETCH_HEAD
# edit and commit
$ git push git@github.com:percygrunwald/exercism-blog.git percy-unicode:6-elixir-parallel-unicode

I just remembered—did you want to link to your walkthrough video in the conclusion? I think that would be valuable.

@kytrinyx, that would be great. Jeremy mentioned that he wasn't sure of how to link the video in the article when we first spoke, has that been resolved?

In any case, the video URL is https://youtu.be/inhcxfzVWWM. I can write something to introduce the video in the conclusion or something. What do you think?

Oh right! I forgot about that. I don't think that has been resolved yet, but I'd like to so we can link your video from the conclusion.

I would love to have known what happened if we had merged this line ^^ :)

@kytrinyx @percygrunwald I've changed the title to make it simple and more "catchy" for when it hits social media / hacker news etc, and added a few words to the marketing description. Both will also help with SEO. I'm just going to use the elixir icon for this one for now.

I'm merging it now, so it's live, then will schedule a tweet for the morning. I will post it on Hackernews in the morning and then suggest that people on Slack might like to upvote it. Percy - you might want to reach out to your network to do the same. Note that it's important that people navigate to it through the Hackernews "New" tab rather than sharing the link, else Hackernews will block it as spam.

@percygrunwald If you create an Exercism profile (or correct the "handle" in the config.json to match what it actually is), then the "about the author" block will appear on the bottom of the post.

The post is live here: https://exercism.io/blog/unicode-matching-in-elixir

Is it poor etiquette for me to post this article before your tweet or announcement goes out? I'll err on the side of caution and wait for the timed tweet to go out before posting.

Thanks so much for publishing the article.
