This repo contains all of the design files for the Hacker Pager case, buttons and acrylic plates.
The Hacker Pager is a wireless messenger and LoRa radio multitool. Retro-stylish, open-source, and packed with features, the Hacker Pager is a powerful tool for tinkerers and enthusiasts to explore the expanding world of LoRa wireless technology.
Production units resin printed by a commercial manufacturer, but also Prints well on FDM with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, snug supports.
We do not recommended printing with carbon fiber filaments, as this can negatively impact range.
Everything in the Hacker Pager is screwed together. Due to space constraints, there are two main screw types of slightly different lengths used.
- 6x M2.5x4mm screws for all of the internal components, where a PCB screws to the case
- 4x M2.5x10mm screws for the acrylic plates, where the acrylic plates screw to the case
Additionally, the screen brace is held in place with 2x M2.5x8mm screws.
When assembling, be careful not to overtighten the screws, it's pretty easy to strip the threads in the plastic.
The design files are licensed under the CERN OHL-S v2 license.
