Arch based distributions can install Shears from the AUR, or using an aurhelper such as yay: yay -S shears
Shears can be built and installed locally with Flatpak Builder:
flatpak-builder --user --install --install-deps-from=flathub build-dir build-aux/com.fvtronics.shears.json --force-cleanShears uses the meson build system. Run the following commands to clone Shears and initialize the build:
git clone https://codeberg.org/fvtronics/shears.git
cd shears
meson setup buildTo install the built package on your system, run the following command:
meson install -C buildThis project's translations are handled by Codeberg Translate, a community-hosted instance of Weblate.
New languages and translation improvements are appreciated.
