Summary

Reviewed the past week of GitHub Copilot updates (github.blog/changelog, copilot-cli changelog, github/app changelog) against the Learning Hub pages and found the Copilot app page (github-copilot-app.md) was missing coverage of several recently shipped app features.

New features found (from github/app changelog v1.1.3–v1.1.5)

• Stacked pull request support in Agent Merge (stack summary in the merge drawer, merge a whole stack together)
• Requesting Copilot code reviews — and re-requesting from reviewers who already responded — directly from the app
• Closing the main window now keeps the app running in the background (tray/dock), so sessions and automations keep running
• New Worktree location setting in Settings > Sessions to customize where session worktrees are created

Other changes reviewed (milestone editing, disk space banner, permission-mode alignment with the CLI, CLI plugin/marketplace and sandbox improvements) were either minor UI polish or already adequately covered by existing pages (e.g. installing-and-using-plugins.md, last updated 2026-08-04, already documents Open Plugin Spec v1 and mcp.json), so no further edits were made there.

  • Agent Merge section: added stacked PR support
  • New "Requesting Code Reviews" subsection
  • Isolated Worktrees section: added Worktree location setting
  • New "Running in the Background" subsection
  • Added a "Further Reading" section linking to the app and CLI changelogs
  • Bumped lastUpdated
