Changes

  • Adds a small 'Hide keyboard' button whenever the system keyboard is shown.

Context

  • Some Koreader modals have their action buttons cut off by the keyboard and it is impossible to 'confirm' them. (I was experiencing this with the add OPDS modal)
  • This allows the user to minimise the iOS keyboard to have an unobstructed view of the UI and be able to confirm/cancel dialogs.

Note

This was 100% produced by OpenAI Codex. I'm a software developer by trade, but know very little about Objective-C or the Koreader codebase.

No offense at all will be taken if you don't want to merge this. I just needed the functionality for myself so thought I'd contribute back what had worked for me.
