Any roadmap that would give us a rough idea on when we could expect this? Any way I can collaborate (coding or otherwise)?

@mariano hey, and thanks! I'm trying to make time where possible to get this ready - we're working on a site with some extra documentation.

Ideally I'd like to add tests to the core library first but we can perhaps push ahead. I have some PRs on the other Mercator repos that I need to get reviewed first but you're welcome to take a look at the other repos, they'll need composer.json files adding:

If you can see anything wrong or if you can test them out that'd be awesome. You'll need to merge all of my PR branches into your local mercator though.

Any thoughts you have on backwards compatibility with the way we're doing primary domains now would be useful too.

Any progress on this? I am about to set up a new deployment pipeline and would like to use the "new" split version.

@cfoellmann thanks for your patience and sorry for the wait. I'll document the updated steps and add a roadmap, then merge these in.

The GUI repo still needs a bit of work.
