I understand the goal of that change but it's the wrong place to do it:
If the map is problematic, the map should be fixed, instead of fixing MW2 "around the map".
Map entities are text files too - maybe you can override the .d3dbsp.ents files for the MW3 maps as to remove the extra bomb site from them, and this way we keep DD unchanged?

In Demolition, MW3 maps have different bombsite in overtime round, which is not supported by MW2 version of gamemode. This change will remove it.
