This is a project by Javier Gallostra presented as a Bachelor Thesis in Industrial Engineering. It has been developed in the IRI (Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial, CSIC-UPC) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech, and directed by Federico Thomas.
Basic framework for RGB-D image registration using Kinect2, libfreenect2 and PCL.
It is intended to be a functional basic program which can serve as a base for future applications.
This project uses libfreenect2 for image acquisition and PCL for data processing and visualization.
