VOLUME_DIRECTION.md was a pre-implementation direction doc superseded by CONTRACT_VOLUME.md, IMPLEMENTATION_PLAN.md Phase 6, and README. The two unique design discipline statements (adapters remain minimal; runtime policy belongs in consumers) are folded into CONTRACT_VOLUME.md's Dataset Boundary section. Everything else was already captured. - Remove docs/VOLUME_DIRECTION.md - Add design discipline rules to CONTRACT_VOLUME.md Dataset Boundary - Remove ARCH_INDEX.md reference Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
