While using PyBoof, I encountered the following error when trying to load an image and perform QR code detection on it:
The code I used to produce the bug is shown at the end of this post.
After digging, I found that the
mmap_fileglobal object is not intialized correctly for the Windows NT branch of code in thedef __init_memmapfunction in__init__.py. It should bepbg.mmap_fileinstead of justmmap_file. (Note that the non-Windows NT code usespbg.mmap_file.When I changed
mmap_filetopbg.mmap_file, the bug went away.Code to reproduce bug:
