I recently added two new functions to the library which allows to update some fields. If you are interest, let's have a chat :)
Note, that there is a commit in between that changes the parsing behavior of genotypes in
variant.genotypes.allele.strings/RBcfCtxVariantAllGtStrings. Previously, genotypes for samples with lower ploidy were filed up with "-" while the HTSLIB simply ignores them. For consistency, I changed to their behavior. In case of "1/-", the parsing now returns simply "1". In case you do not like this update but the remaining let me know and I will adopt :)Best,
