SIGCOMM2014: Mega Event Use Case
This demonstration highlights how Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) can be used by a mobile network operator to dynamically provide required mobile core network functions for a large “Mega” event like a football game or a concert.
POCO 1.0: NOMS and INFOCOM 2014
This is the first version of POCO coming with an intuitive Graphical User Interface.
Additionally, dynamic controller placement in the PlanetLab testbed is implemented.
This version was used for the following two demos:
- POCO: A Framework for the Pareto-Optimal Resilient Controller Placement in SDN-based Core Networks
at the IEEE/IFIP Network Operations and Management Symposium (NOMS), Krakow, Poland, May 2014 - POCO-PLC: Enabling Dynamic Pareto-Optimal Resilient Controller Placement in SDN Networks at the IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications (INFOCOM), Toronto, Canada, April 2014
