Hi Marten,
I've been trying to run scintillometry on ARO data of 1133 taken on 14 june 2014. I got a new clone from your repo of scintellometry and baseband and mostly copied the reduction files from an earlier commit across (back then the directory was call vlbi_b1133, now aro_1133_14june2014). I've been trying to run things on the BGQ (submit script is arochime.sh in trials/aro_1133_14june2014) but got stuck with an error:
File "/home/p/pen/franzk/git/baseband/baseband/vlbi_base/header.py", line 24, in
four_word_struct = struct.Struct('<4I')
TypeError: Struct() argument 1 must be string, not unicode
On stackoverflow it said that since python 2.7.7 you can feed unicode to Struct(). The highest python 2 version on BGQ is 2.7.5-XL. I also tried with python 3.2 on BGQ but there don't even seem to be modules like numpy compiled for that.
Would you mind taking a look at my arochime.sh, reduce_data.py, reduction.py and let me know what I'm missing, please?
Thanks!
Franz
