- uses a smaller model so download is faster - adds catalog check if model exists - adds local cache check and downloads as needed

README says sample will download but it doesn’t so this fixes that as well as checks catalog and cache to ensure model alias is good
without the change in this PR, it would fail — i.e prompt fails with no response from the service, and the client kicks it with “ Error: error decoding response body: EOF while parsing a value at line 1 column 0”
