Adds an Origin & attribution note near the top of the README.

Why

smf is being detached from its GitHub fork relationship with travelping/ergw (GPL-2.0). Detaching removes GitHub's automatic "forked from" link, so this note preserves the lineage and upstream attribution in the README itself — which GPL-2.0 requires regardless.

Note added

Origin & attribution. next-nf/smf began as a fork of Travelping's erGW, which appeared to be no longer publicly maintained, and continues that codebase — evolving it toward a full SMF. It is maintained as an independent project rather than a GitHub fork, but the lineage is retained here: the original code is copyright the erGW authors and this project remains licensed under GPL-2.0.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Records the project's lineage from Travelping's erGW (GPL-2.0) and its
GPL-2.0 licensing directly in the README, so attribution survives detaching
the GitHub fork relationship.
