This pull requests bumps the telegraf version to 1.37.2 and replaces the inputs.prometheus plugin with inputs.http in the small variant, which reduces final package size with approximately 40%. There are basically no downsides since inputs.http can scrape prometheus endpoints by using
data_format = "prometheus"and should be a worth while trade-off to make sure the package can be installed on as many devices as possible.🧪 Run Testing Details
