Combines all 15 automated code scanning alert fixes for multiplication result converted to larger type. These changes span `include/stb_image.h`, `include/stb_image_write.h`, and `src/preprocess.c` with consistent application of `size_t` casts to prevent integer overflow before conversion to larger types. General fix: ensure multiplication is performed in a wider unsigned size type (
size_t) before the multiplication occurs, typically by casting one operand tosize_t.Best targeted fix here (without changing behavior): in
include/stb_image.h, change the allocation call on line 7750 fromstbi__malloc(layers * stride)tostbi__malloc((size_t)layers * (size_t)stride). This preserves existing logic and return handling, but guarantees multiplication is done insize_t, eliminatingint-overflow-before-conversion in this location.No new imports, helper methods, or dependencies are needed.
