JCUKEN is a popular layout for Russian keyboards. The layout mimics JCUKEN by spreading letters uniformly across the keyboard and placing them roughly at similar physical locations.

The layout favors familiarity to utmost efficiency.

At most 2 taps per letter. Best suited for Unihertz Titan 2.

I copied the layout from my Blackberry Passport. It used to serve me well. You can see it in Google Image Search

I'd suggest to everyone who has alternative ideas to at least provide a rationale.

having cyrillic/latin letter on the same key as desktop kb whenever possible actually helps.

I went with tripple-taps instead of more double-taps when I was making my version, I don't know which approach is better, mine seams to be also working.
