Percona Search for MongoDB

Percona Search for MongoDB is Percona's distribution of mongot, the search service that provides Full Text Search and Vector Search capabilities for Percona Server for MongoDB.

Installation

Packages for Percona Search for MongoDB are created by the Percona team and are available at the Percona website. You can also build from source — see docs/building.md.

Submitting bug reports or feature requests

If you find a bug in Percona Search for MongoDB, you can submit a report to the Jira issue tracker for Percona Server for MongoDB: https://jira.percona.com/projects/PSMDB

Start by searching the open tickets for a similar report. If you find that someone else has already reported the problem, you can upvote that report to increase its visibility.

If there is no existing report, submit one following these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Jira issue tracker. You will need to create an account if you do not have one.
  2. In the Summary, Description, Steps To Reproduce, and Affects Version fields, describe the problem you have detected.
  3. As a general rule of thumb, try to create bug reports that are:
    • Reproducible: include steps to reproduce the problem.
    • Specific: include as much detail as possible (version, environment, etc.).
    • Unique: check whether a Jira ticket already describes the problem.
    • Scoped to a single bug: report only one bug per ticket.
