@adrianriobo Not sure if the prefix file:/// is alright or if there is missing also a change for volume mounting and connections details output param, like here:

        podman run -d --name windows-create --rm \
          -v ${PWD}:/workspace:z \
         ...
            --backed-url 'file:///${STORAGE_ID}' \
            --conn-details-output '/workspace' \
         ...

So take into account:

the blob container should exist on azure and then the syntax would start with azblob

So I am creating a tmp. dir on the azblob? resulting in something like: "--backed-url", "azblob://crc-qenvs-state/workspaces/$STORAGE_ID" ?

yeah basically it will create the state there and then you would use the same backed url to destroy
