Hi Raphael! 👋
This PR proposes adding GitAgent Protocol (GAP) support to Harness Evolver — a small, open standard for portable AI agents (https://gitagent.sh) that lets agents be discovered, shared, and run on any GAP-compatible runtime.
What this adds (nothing else changes):
agent.yaml— a standard manifest capturing Harness Evolver's name, version, model, skills (setup, evolve, health, status, deploy, certify), runtime settings, and compliance posture (human-in-the-loop on destructive actions)SOUL.md— your agent's persona and instructions in the standard soul format, distilled from your existingCLAUDE.mdand agent definitionsWhy it fits Harness Evolver so well:
Harness Evolver already has a rich multi-skill architecture (
skills/,agents/), a clear model preference (Claude + LangSmith), and a well-defined operational loop — it maps cleanly to GAP's format with almost no interpretation needed. Adding these two files makes it immediately discoverable and runnable on any GAP-compatible harness. With these files in place, Harness Evolver can also be listed in the Open GAP Registry and run portably on Claude Code, GitClaw, and other compatible runtimes.
Totally optional to accept — feel free to edit the metadata or close. Thanks for building this — the evolution loop design is genuinely impressive! 🦀
