Mechanical Engineering BSc student at Boğaziçi University, specializing in Thermal Systems.
Interested in thermal-fluid systems, engineering analytics, operations, optimization, and using data-driven methods to connect technical performance with business impact.
Developed a thermal–economic maintenance optimization framework for a counterflow shell-and-tube heat exchanger.
- ε–NTU thermal modeling and asymptotic fouling degradation
- Cleaning-cost and downtime optimization over a 180-day operating horizon
- 108-scenario analysis covering fouling severity, cleaning effectiveness, energy price, and maintenance cost
- Thermal–economic decision framework balancing cost and retained thermal performance
- Sensor-based estimation of heat duty, overall heat-transfer coefficient, and fouling resistance
- Conceptual SolidWorks heat-exchanger design and technical report
Key result: A two-cleaning base-case strategy reduced cumulative thermal loss by 19.03% relative to the strict cost optimum for only a 0.025% increase in modeled cost.
Developed an Excel and Power BI manufacturing-performance analysis using 1,656 production records across multiple production lines, shifts, and products.
- Production KPI development and performance analysis
- Excel PivotTables, dashboards, and savings modeling
- Interactive Power BI dashboard
- Line- and shift-level efficiency and cost analysis
- Financial impact estimation and executive recommendations
Tools: Excel, Power BI, data analysis, KPI development
Developing an automated waste-sorting system combining mechanical design, sensing, embedded control, and AI-assisted waste identification.
Current work includes:
- SolidWorks mechanical design and system architecture
- Waste-routing and sorting-mechanism development
- Repository documentation and project organization
- Preparation for physical construction and system integration
The project is currently under development, with the physical build, control integration, and waste-classification system forming the next stage.
TiO₂/Epoxy Nanocomposite Coatings for Radiative Heat Transfer
Studied the radiative behavior of TiO₂/epoxy nanocomposite coatings through a thermal-systems parametric analysis.
Developed a camera-based line-following robot using a Raspberry Pi Pico 2, OV7670 camera module, L298N motor driver, and PWM motor control.
