The instructions referred to the old name behastan/behastan and this resulted in the installation of an old version which does not work properly. They should refer to rector/behastan instead

Thanks 👍 I forgot to update it here. The composer should tell you about the deprecation and the new package, but I guess it's only subtle warning easy to miss |

Yeah, I missed the warning. But looking back into the composer output I can see that it prints:
