1) Dedicate a clean toothbrush to your cleaning supplies. Use this to get into tiny crevices that a sponge can't get into.

2) Cheap felt gloves are really cheap. I take these and I cut off the finger tips so that I have a pair of inexpensive fingerless gloves. These fit well under normal gloves, so that when you take your gloves off to do something, most of your hand is still covered by something, but your finger tips being exposed gives you the dexterity to accomplish the task.

3) Hue Lights (with the bridge). We had Lasik eye surgery and bright lights were annoying. We found refurbished and used bulbs for about $25 a bulb. They're expensive - but also LED. We have them automated to flow through a "sunset" phase. The three lamps that we have in our living room all change colors between yellows, oranges, pinks, purples, and more to create a lowlight sunset "vibe" that changes throughout the evening. Our eyes love the low light, our apartment looks cute through the window, and the changing of colors keeps things interesting.
