open a terminal in the folder where the app lives In the terminal type 'npm install' (without the quotes) wait until the install is finished
Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.
To serve the app on a different port run 'ng serve --port ' (without the quotes) e.g. ng serve --port 8080
