Reqstool Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and maintainers of Reqstool pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity or expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We are committed to providing a welcoming, professional, and respectful environment for everyone.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Accepting constructive criticism gracefully
  • Focusing on what is best for the community and the project
  • Showing empathy toward other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission
  • Any conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and may take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all Reqstool organization spaces, including:

  • GitHub repositories under the Reqstool organization
  • Issues and pull requests
  • Discussions
  • Project documentation
  • Any official Reqstool communication channels

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it via GitHub’s security reporting feature:

  1. Go to the relevant repository
  2. Click on the Security tab
  3. Choose Report a vulnerability

All reports will be reviewed and handled confidentially and respectfully.

We commit to responding promptly and taking appropriate action.

Enforcement Guidelines

Project maintainers will determine the appropriate response to any incident on a case-by-case basis. Actions may include:

  • Warning the individual
  • Temporarily restricting participation
  • Permanent removal from the project community

Attribution

This Code of Conduct is inspired by the Contributor Covenant and adapted for the Reqstool organization.
